COMIC WA was launched on the 18th of February 2007.

We have developed many networks of people sharing a common interest for the need of better services for both the child and the parents living with mental distress. There needs to be integrated programs and services made available to families, a one stop shop so to speak. The family does not want to have to repeat their story over and over again as this can be traumatizing often re living moments that were very stressful at the time.

Our workshops have been well attended by the many different professions. The feedback we have received inform us that people have been enlightened raising awareness and understanding of the complex issues that families have to live with daily.
